Taste of Design
Nearly 400 people attended the Design and Architecture Senior High (DASH) Taste of Design / Creative Mind Awards event held in the historic MID Atrium Building, raising $65,000 to benefit DASH PTSA. Guests enjoyed tantalizing culinary offerings from local restaurants and a sampling of DASH students’ fashion, film and fine art, with entertainment by the internationally renowned DJ Le Spam and the All Stars. The Taste of Design Creative Mind Awards were presented to Jose L. Estevez, a founding partner of MGE Architects, and Duane Lawrence, a DASH graduate of 2000, for their vision, creativity and design skills. A highlight of the evening was Silent Auction with nearly 150 luxury items, including jewelry, travel packages and original artwork.
