DASH Creative Mind Awards
Miami Design District
The Design & Architecture Senior High School (DASH) honored alumni with its first Creative Mind Awards at a fundraising event “Taste for Design.” Guests enjoyed tantalizing culinary offerings from five of the District’s restaurants – Soyka Pacific Time, Brosia, Michael’s Genuine Food and Fratelli Lyon – plus fashion, film and fine art as they listen to the quintessential Latin funk sound of DJ Le Spam and the All Stars. Award recipients were noted fashion designer Estaban Cortazar, contemporary architect William Lai, AIA; filmmaker John Navarro, graphic designer Michael Crane, industrial designer Christopher Benjamin, and fine artist Daniel Arsham.
