Ornare honors six from Miami's design community
More than 500 design experts, art enthusiasts and VIPs flocked to the Ornare showroom – located in the heart of the Miami Design District – to celebrate six of the Magic City’s most influential interior designers and architects at the 2013 Ornare Tastemakers Showcase.
The ultra-luxury Brazilian home design brand elevated its showcase to the next level: utilizing interactive presentations through unique video projections. The showroom walls were transformed into large spectacles where each designer and his/her project came to life. Video reels looped through the night as attendees enjoyed specialty cocktails by Ketel One vodka, Champagne, Perrier sparkling water and nibbles by Chef Lars Catering. Event goers also enjoyed a creative and lavish luxury closet installation curated by celebrity fashion stylist Rachael Russell, in awareness of the local non-profit organization Style Saves.
The 2013 honorees included Architect Rene Gonzalez, Rafaela Simoes and Laila Colvin of 2id Interiors, Sofia Joelsson of Sojo Design, Alison Antrobus and Ruby Ramirez of Antrobus + Ramirez, Isabel Tragash of STA Architectural Group and Pepe Calderin of Pepe Calderin Design
