Children from Latin America who immigrate to Miami have few chances to see theater that reflects their culture and experiences. The West Kendall-based Artefactus Cultural Project wants to change that and is creating “Tales of Miami,” a new show that features their stories. Artefactus is one of four local arts organizations eligible to win $20,000 through the Knight Arts Challenge People’s Choice Award.
