Celebrated art series returns


Bal Harbour is one of the world’s most fashionable and luxurious locations. Lavish resort hotels and the finest in retail shopping have been hallmarks of The Village for decades.

Now, art has come to play an integral part in Bal Harbour’s programming. Its Unscripted Art Series has had tremendous success both with residents and tourists, and has received international attention in many publications.

“A Conversation with Mark Dion and Rene Morales” on Tuesday, March 18 at 6:30 p.m. is the next installment in the Unscripted Series. The conversation will take place at One Bal Harbour Resort and Spa and will feature PAMM Curator Rene Morales speaking with world renowned artist Mark Dion about his engagement with the activity of fieldwork and playing with the role of archeologists, naturalist, scientist and artist.

Haitian Heritage Museum’s 10th Annual Gala

The Haitian Heritage Museum (HHM) celebrated a Decade of Cultural EnlighTENment in the beautful Miami Design District. The Fete included awards given to community leaders, special presentations, a riveting performance by Delou Africa and was an overall successful evening.

Founders Eveline Pierre and Serge Rodriquez both gave compelling speeches on the journey and significance of this 10 year celebration. They emphasized on the importance of community support for establishing the blocks for the next phase of the museum’s legacy. “Totally Envisioning Next”, said Eveline Pierre, as she urged the guest to reflect on the tremendous contributions of the Haitian Heritage Museum to the global community since it’s inception in 2004.
