VIDEO: Bal Harbour Cultural Series

Lin Arison @ Books & Books

The Bal Harbour Cultural Series had another marquee event as Mitchell Kaplan’s Books & Books at the Bal Harbour Shops hosted a book signing for Feast for the Senses, A Musical Odyssey in Umbria, a new book by Lin Arison.

Detailing Arison’s journey through Umbria with the New World Symphony, Arison has essentially written a travel book complete with contact information of the places they visited.

Coinciding with the opening of The Symphony’s new Frank Gehry designed building, Arison showed a DVD that is included with her book which details the inspiration behind the new building. Arison also read a passage before signing books for nearly an hour while a four piece group from the New World Symphony performed.

The Bal Harbour Cultural Arts Series continues with a Fernando Botero exhibition on Wednesday, January 19th from 6 pm to 9 pm.
