Women of Substance & Style Honored at Destination Fashion 2012

Philanthropy, fashion and fantasy will come together with celebrities, exciting entertainment and the South Florida community at Destination Fashion 2012, presented by Micky and Madeleine Arison, on November 10. Hosted by The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis, the fundraising arm of The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis, this unbelievable event will once again be held at Bal Harbour Shops, which will close to the public to welcome Destination Fashion guests and to recognize the 2012 Women of Substance & Style (pictured below).

Highlights of the event are musical sensation Enrique Iglesias performing in concert and an exclusive preview of the Spring 2013 Emilio Pucci Collection, presented by Saks Fifth Avenue, in a full runway show. Noted broadcast journalist Tom Brokaw will serve as Master of Ceremonies, sharing the pleasure of the evening with event Co-Chairs, Academy Award winner Tommy Lee Jones and his wife Dawn and international polo sensation Ingacio “Nacho” Figueras and his wife Delfina Blaquier.

The 2012 honorees will walk the runway, accompanied by their Celebrity Presenters, a who’s who list of notables in the worlds of business, entertainment and sports.

The star-studded celebration will offer guests a journey through “the destinations,” showcasing the sights and sounds of each destination. The “Too Good to Keep Silent Auction” and the Tiffany & Co. “Blue Box Wall” will give partygoers a chance to win a dazzling collection of jewelry, vacation packages, designer bags and more ultra-luxe items.

The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis invites you to preview the “Too Good to Keep Silent Auction” and enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at Bal Harbour Shops on Monday, October 29 from 6 to 8 p.m.
