World Premiere Screening of Discover South Florida
On Tuesday, May 13th, WLRN Public Television for South Florida hosted the world premiere screening of Discover South Florida. Held at Cinema Paradiso in Ft. Lauderdale, over 250 people gathered to watch the new hour-long documentary which showcases the beauty and splendor of many of southern Florida’s unique destinations and natural treasures. Destinations featured in the documentary include Everglades National Park, the Ten Thousand Islands, Naples and Fort Myers, and Key West just to name a few. The visual journey was preceded by a cocktail reception and was followed by a special Q & A session where guests where able to meet filmmakers Felipe Marrou and Juan Peña and other stars of the show.
Discover South Florida airs on television for the first time Monday, May 26th at 8 p.m. and will repeats on Wednesday, May 28th at 7 p.m., and Thursday, May 29th at 8 p.m. on WLRN Channel 17!
