Vizcaya Museum and Gardens welcomed more than 300 guests wearing the latest spring fashions and the finest millinery for the 12th Annual Vizcaya Preservation Luncheon. The Preservation Luncheon raises funds to support the preservation of Vizcaya as a vital community resourceincluding donations at the event to the Vizcaya  Conservation Fund to protect and restore individual art objects. Vizcaya closed to the public just a few days after the Preservation Luncheon to support efforts to ensure the health and safety of our community.

Presented by French Jewelry House Messika Paris with co-chairs Eilah Campbell-Beavers, Swanee DiMare and Christy Martin, the luncheon raises funds for the continued preservation of Vizcaya.

The luncheon featured a vibrant cocktail reception and elegant al fresco lunch, emceed by Emmy Award-winner Laurie Jennings and WPLG Local 10 anchor Louis Aguirre, on the waterfront terrace in view of Vizcaya’s iconic Stone Barge.

The 12th Annual Vizcaya Preservation Luncheon’s Committee includes Lesli Ann Brown, Daisy Casuso, Sonia Gibson, Linda Levy Goldberg, Barbara Hevia, Carol Iacovelli, Marile Lopez, Bronwyn Miller, Ariel Penzer Milgroom, Jen Montoya, James Murphy, Erika Thomas, Josie Wang, Alexa Wolman and Suzy Buckley Woodward.

A Fashion Contest with judges Béatrice de Quervain, Business Development for Messika USA; Svetlana Gafurova, Valentino Manager for Miami and Karolina Kurková, Supermodel and Actress is a highlight of the luncheon. The 2020 winners include Jenni Coba with daughter Emery Grace for Best Ensemble, Mary Bryant McCourt winning Most Avant Garde and Kinga Lampert for Best Hat
