Laura Posada is a mother, attorney, motivational speaker, author, certified master life coach, certified personal trainer, TV personality, philanthropic figure and creator of the 40 is the new 20 Movement.  Through her social media messaging, weekend retreats and 21 day Transformation Course she provides a complete guide to wellness that includes exercise, nutrition, mindset and motivation.  She has a powerful online presence with more than 625,000 followers across her platforms.

She has been chosen by People en Español magazine as one of the Most Powerful Women of 2016 and also Vanidades Woman by the prestigious magazine in the same year.  Currently, she is the Brand Ambassador for Wonderful Pistachios promoting healthy eating habits.  She was the first Latina to work as a spokesperson for the brand and her campaign received two Bravo awards for campaign of the year in the Health and Nutrition category and in the Food and Drink category as well.

Laura showcased her life coaching expertise as the coach for the contestants on the TV show Nuestra Belleza Latina on Univision and as producer and host of the TV show Manual de Supervivencia con Laura Posada (Survival Guide with Laura Posada), which aired on Utilisima and FoxLife. Likewise, she has appeared as a regular contributor on NBC’s national morning program The Today Show and regularly appears on Univision’s Despierta América. In addition, she has appeared in many radio and TV shows such as: Discovery Channel’s American Chopper, ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, The Doctors, E! True Hollywood Stories’ Baseball Wives, The Wendy Williams Show, and HBO’s Bryant Gumbel’s Real Stories.

Posada is also a prominent writer and has published two award-winning books Fit Home Team, which was awarded three Atria Book Awards in 2009 and The Beauty of Love. Recently, she released her third book La Dieta Mental: Tu Clave Para Ser Feliz (The Mental Diet: Your Key to Happiness).

Posada is a recognized philanthropist. After her son was born with Craniosynostosis, she created The Jorge Posada Foundation along with her husband, a now retired All Star catcher for the New York Yankees, to raise awareness about this condition and help others going through the same situation. The Jorge Posada Foundation joined the MyFace Foundation in 2012, where Laura has been a Board Member for the last 18 years.
