Miami’s hottest designer, Rene Ruiz, hosted the kick-off for 2013 American Cancer Society Inner Circle of Twelve Luncheon with a preview of his latest collection at his Coral Gables atelier. Guests, including current and past honorees, committee members and supporters, attended the kick-off and enjoyed lunch by Thierry’s Catering. Ruiz, a well-known South Florida designer for nearly two decades, has truly gone international with the showing of his collection at markets during Fashion Week in New York as well as in Paris. The 2013 Inner Circle of Twelve Honorees include: Ana Milton, Barbara Hevia, Christina Getty, Criselda Breene, DJ Kerr, Jeanne Shinefield, Kathy Simkins, Kimberly Shenker-Bacardi, Madeleine Munilla, Marile Lopez, Martha Mishcon, and Tina Carl. These women will be honored at the Inner Circle of Twelve Luncheon in October.
