9th Annual Inner Circle of Twelve Luncheon and Fashion Show
American Cancer Society Honors Twelve Outstanding Women
Over four hundred people joined the American Cancer Society at the JW Marriott Marquis to honor local philanthropists for their commitment to our community at the Ninth Annual Inner Circle of Twelve Luncheon and Fashion Show. Guests included the Honorable Katherine Fernandez Rundle, Senator Anitere Flores, Trish Bell, Fana Holtz, Virginia Jacko, Christy Martin, Ramona Busot, Yolanda Berkowitz, and many more. The Inner Circle of Twelve Luncheon recognized twelve outstanding women for their leadership, volunteerism, community involvement and dedication to the American Cancer Society’s mission. This year’s event certainly was Miami’s luncheon of the year, as it raised over $130,000 to help the American Cancer Society save lives from cancer.
The American Cancer Society had in attendance as guest survivor speaker of the day the very prominent Dr. Felicia Knaul.
This year Neiman Marcus Coral Gables presented “The Best of Neiman’s” to benefit the American Cancer Society. The beautiful fashion show introduced the latest and greatest Fall 2016 trends. Guests also enjoyed great food, entertainment, and a silent auction which featured everything from jewelry and accessories, fashion, hotel stays, spa packages, and much more.
This year’s event Chairs included: Remedios Diaz-Oliver, Brenda Nestor Castellano, Sonia Gibson, Lilliam S. Machado, James “Jim” Murphy, and Dorothy St. Jean.
