The Spectrum Awards recognize women of diverse ages and cultural backgrounds who make significant contributions to the quality of life in South Florida. Each exemplifies the humanitarian principles of the American Red Cross: Humanity, Impartiality, Independence, Unity, Neutrality, Universality, and Voluntary Service. Named for Sara Hopkins Woodruff, a businesswoman and philanthropist whose family sponsors the Spectrum Awards in her memory, the awards will be presented at a luncheon on April 15 at the Ritz Carlton Coconut Grove.
