Girl Scout Council Of Tropical Florida Hosts Camp

The Girl Scout Council of Tropical Florida recently hosted The Roundup at Camp Mahachee. The Council honored Grace O’Donnell, first Hispanic female Major in the Miami-Dade Police Department, for her continuous support to the organization. The event, produced by the Council’s Service Unit 18, offered hundreds of guest an evening of Western fun and entertainment to benefit the Girl Scout Council of Tropical Florida and its efforts to provide thousands of girls with programs that help build girls of courage, confidence and character. The event was emceed by Roxanne Vargas Co-Anchor of NBC6 and host of South Florida Today and co-chaired by troop leaders and mothers of Girl Scouts C. Patricia Cruz and Suzanne N. Levitt.
