Mystery Dates
It's time for MOCA's annual fundraiser
MOCA Shakers, the Museum of Contemporary Art’s young international patrons group, will present Mystery Dates on Saturday, November 17, one of the season’s most highly anticipated parties all year. Leading collectors open the doors to their stunning private homes, sharing with guests how they incorporate culture and design into their lives.
The evening begins with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at MOCA where guests learn which of 14 amazing homes they will be having dinner. Mystery Dates hosts are an interesting mix of business and creative entrepreneurs who all share a love of entertaining and art. After touring the private collections, guests enjoy a delicious meal with other arts minded people, before heading out to a private after party at The Shore Club on South Beach for a late night rendezvous.
Dinners will be held in diverse locations, reflecting the rich and thriving culture scene of Miami. Among the locations are a waterside house in Golden Beach, a designer’s home on Pinetree Drive, a Miami Modern house in Morningside, a remodeled bungalow in downtown Miami, an artist studio on the Miami River, and homes on Fisher Island, Sunset Island, Snapper Creek and Old Cutler Road.
Tickets are selling fast at $200 a piece with a discounted price of $150 for MOCA Shaker members. Proceeds benefit MOCA exhibitions of emerging and experimental art. To reserve, visit www.mocanomi.org or call 305 893 6211.
