Welcome the New Year with Salute to Vienna, patterned after Vienna’s world famous Neujahrskonzert, returning for a glorious 13th season. Sold out in major cities across North America, this unique concert series captures the hearts of music-lovers everywhere! Enjoy a brilliant cast of more than 75 musicians, stellar European singers and international dancers from the Kiev-Aniko Ballet of Ukraine, as well as champion ballroom dancers. Featuring the Strauss Symphony of America, conducted by Imre Kollár, with soprano Monica Mosser and tenor Joachim Mosre, the program includes popular Strauss waltzes, polkas and famous operetta excerpts. New Years Eve Celebrations

Ring in 2012 with The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Melissa and Joe Gorga

From 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Reality star Melissa Gorga is bringing her New Jersey brand of in-your-face glamour – and her husband, Joe Gorga – to The Catalina Hotel and Beach Club to ring in 2012, Miami Beach style. The Gorgas will be joined by local sensations, The Spam All Stars, a Latin-funk-hip-hop-dub band known for keeping partygoers on their feet, and a lineup of DJs spinning until 7 a.m. DJ Halo will be serving up old-skool hip-hop in the Kung Fu Lounge; DJ Chris Video will spin ’80s grooves, pop and classic rock in Maxine’s Lounge; and DJ 1 MX will bring the house classics to Red Bar. Plus, showgirls, synchronized swimmers and other performers will entertain throughout the night. Celebrate 2011’s last meal at one of The Fontainebleau’s acclaimed eateries – choose from a chef-selected four or five course dinner at Gotham Steak or Scarpetta or enjoy family-style dining at Hakkasan. Four-course dinners from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. are $150 p/p; and five-course dinners, including a champagne toast, beginning at 9:30, are priced at $275 p/p.
