Social Snapshot: Cristian LaCapra
The investment manager and chair of the Strong Girls event speaks to us in his own words.
Cristian LaCapra – who with his wife Gianni will co-chair the Strong Girls event this weekend – is a Wealth Strategist at Northern Trust, managing investments and offering estate planning for individuals and families in South Florida. LaCapra, a graduate of Miami Country Day School, is a Miami native. He’s a committed civic and community leader, and in addition to his work with Strong Girls, currently has positions with the United Way of Miami-Dade Tocqueville Society Cabinet and Best Buddies South Florida Advisory Board. LaCapra has also served on the boards of Leadership Florida/Connect Florida as Class V Class Representative and City Year Miami. LaCapra is a supporter of the UM Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center through the Dolphins Cancer Challenge, who honored him as a “Lifetime Heavy Hitter” for his fundraising accomplishments. The LaCapras are the proud parents of twins Nico and Celine.
