Baptist Health Foundation will give gala-goers a glimpse of the Roaring ‘20s at this year’s South Miami Hospital/Kidz Medical Services Mercury Ball. Themed “Puttin’ on the Ritz,” the black-tie gala will raise funds for a new campaign benefiting the hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Titled, “NowICU,” the campaign will enable the hospital to purchase sophisticated webcams for every bed in the NICU, easing the anxiety of caring parents and relatives by allowing them to see their precious babies when they can’t be there in-person.

Emceed by South Miami Hospital CEO Lincoln Mendez, the Mercury Ball is chaired by Gabriel De Armas, Jr.; Zenia and Ghassan Haddad, M.D., and Mari and Romeo Majano, M.D. Generous sponsors include Florida Heart Care, First National Bank of South Miami, Radiology Associates of South Florida, Intermedia Touch, Tri-City Electric, Bacardi and Southern Wine & Spirits.

To purchase tickets or tables, email Events@BaptistHealth.net or call 786-467-5400.
