About South Miami Hospital

South Miami Hospital is part of Baptist Health South Florida, the largest faith-based, not-for-profit healthcare organization in the region. In addition to South Miami Hospital, Baptist Health includes Baptist Hospital, Homestead Hospital, Baptist Children’s Hospital, Baptist Cardiac & Vascular Institute, Mariners Hospital, Doctors Hospital, West Kendall Baptist Hospital and Baptist Outpatient Services. Baptist Health Foundation, the organization’s fundraising arm, supports services at all hospitals and facilities affiliated with Baptist Health.

The Foundation’s mission, through volunteer leadership and philanthropic support, is to improve the health and quality of life of all the members of our community. Philanthropic support plays an essential role at South Miami Hospital. The generosity of our caring donors has tremendous impact on the health and well-being of our community, enabling South Miami Hospital to obtain new technology, to provide further training for employees and to acquire much needed equipment. But more than physical assets, generous donations have created innumerable opportunities to change and save lives in our community.

Please consider donating to one of these fundraising projects or special events and make a difference in someone’s life:
