The Darker Side of Green
Lexus Brings Debate Series to Miami this Tuesday
To introduce the all-new CT 200h premium compact hybrid in the U.S., Lexus is expanding on its unprecedented ‘green issues’ debate by presenting a series of lively discussions between proponents and skeptics of climate change – and it’s coming to Miami.
Designed to inspire a new audience to consider luxury hybrid vehicles, the Miami debate will be moderated by stand-up master Jamie Kennedy and will feature leading environmental thinkers on both sides of the discussion – including author and sustainable energy advocate Amanda Little, and author and climate policy skeptic Christopher Horner.
Havana Nights
Mercy Foundation and its support group, Ambassadors of Mercy, welcomed a ‘full house’ for its seventh annual Havana Nights Casino event, benefiting Mercy Hospital. Nearly three hundred people were in attendance for the electrifying fundraiser at Grove Isle Hotel and Spa. Playing games like roulette, blackjack, craps and poker, attendees got a chance to double down and roll the dice for a cause.
Good Help! – It’s Possible to Find
It’s no easy task for active families to find the time to keep the household running smoothly, serve on charitable committees, attend meetings and events, not to mention going out to enjoy the Miami restaurant and nightlife scenes. That’s why more and more families are seeking help in the form of nannies, housekeepers, cooks, and babysitters.
Crunch Care, a South Florida service that provides household help, is a leader in this arena.
Crunch Care started in San Diego and earned a sterling reputation as an agency that listens to clients’ needs and sends appropriate people to fill their positions. It’s like a dating service with a lot more at stake – children’s safety. That’s what attracted Joanna Harris to the possibility of opening the second Crunch Care in the country.
