When women are strong, families are strong, communities are strong, the economy is strong, the country is strong, and the world is strong.

With that mission in mind, the Women’s Fund held it’s annual Power of the Purse Luncheon, which is one of the community’s most anticipated events. Attracting a cross-section of Miami-Dade County executives, business owners, community leaders, public officials, young professionals, and philanthropists convening to positively impact women and girls, this this year’s virtual
event featured designer and one-of-a-kind items, many of which are donated by women entrepreneurs.

The keynote speech was delivered by long-time Women’s Fund supporter, Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, the first Madam Mayor of Miami-Dade County. She was followed by remarks from changemakers including Academy Award-Winner Jane Fonda, reggae royalty Cedella Marley, award-winning playwright (Formerly Eve Ensler) and surrealist blues poet and storyteller Aja Monet.
