Dana Shear is a Miami social superstar, well known throughout the community and a supporter of many non-profit events.
Dana is Miami native and graduate of North Miami Beach Senior High School. She currently works alongside her husband of more than 20 years, developer and general contractor, Gary Shear. Their company, Shear Construction, specializes in residential and commercial build outs, remodeling and new construction and is responsible for some of Miami’s most glamorous homes.
Among the events that Dana has supported include the Vizcaya Preservation Luncheon, Miami Children’s Museum gala, Go Red for Women luncheon benefiting the American Heart Association, Honeyshine Hats Off luncheon and many more. She can also be seen at high end fashion events in Bal Harbour and at Merrick Park.
Dana has impeccable style. Two of her fave local designers are jewelry designer Daniela Swaebe and handbag designer Laura Buccellati, both of whom are featured in Shear’s Fashion Faves segment.
Overall, Dana is a positive person with strong family values and a sense of loyalty, which is not only evident by the manner in which people treat her, but the manner by which she treats people.
