2012 Inner Circle of Twelve Luncheon
Over 400 guests joined the American Cancer Society at the InterContinental Miami to honor twelve women for their commitment to philanthropy in our community. ACS’s Inner Circle of Twelve distinction recognizes outstanding women for their leadership, volunteerism, community involvement and dedication to the American Cancer Society’s mission. Déco Drive’s Louis Aguirre served as emcee for the award presentations and the runway fashion show presented by Neiman Marcus Bal Harbour. Swanee DiMare was Philanthropic Chair, and the honorees were: Norma Jean Abraham, Lian Fanjul-Azqueta, Nancy Batchelor, Nora Bulnes, Frances Esquenazi, Mari Alarcon Grimalt, Cathy Jones, Lady Blanka Rosenstiel, Connie Russell, Jackie Elias Skaf, Penny Stamps and Beatrice Ziff. The event, which raised over $140,000, was chaired by Remedios Diaz-Oliver, Sonia Gibson, Lilliam S. Machado, James Murphy, Dorothy St. Jean and Brenda Nestor Castellano.
