The American Cancer Society also presented the prestigious “Inner Circle of Twelve Legacy Award” to founding Event Chairs Dorothy St. Jean and James “Jim” Murphy. Dorothy and Jim were recognized for being pinnacles of this event and for their commitment and efforts in making this Luncheon one of the most recognized and best luncheons in Miami.

This year The Fur Salon at Saks Fifth Avenue Bal Harbour presented “The World of Carmen Marc Valvo” to benefit the American Cancer Society. Each one of Carmen’s elegant designs combines classic artistry and refinement in striking silhouettes designed to enhance and complement the inherent beauty of the female form. His unique ability to highlight a woman’s best features through the flawless execution of color and fabric has made him a favorite of celebrities seeking an unforgettable special event look. Over the past 25 years, Carmen’s stunning cocktail dresses and breathtaking couture gowns have graced some of the world’s most glamorous and talented women.

In addition to a beautiful Fashion Show and the presence of the fashion designer Carmen Marc Valvo, the attendees enjoyed a cocktail, great food, entertainment and a silent auction coordinated by Norma Jean Abraham. This magnificent luncheon was chaired by: Remedios Diaz-Oliver, Brenda Nestor Castellano, Sonia Gibson, Lilliam S. Machado, James “Jim” Murphy, and Dorothy St. Jean.

The 2015 Inner Circle of 12 was made possible in part by the generous support of: The Fur Salon at Saks Fifth Avenue Bal Harbour, WSVN Channel 7, Selecta Magazine, O.P.
