Rose & Mcquillan Arts Center At Fairchild Garden
NYC philanthropists Adam R. Rose and Peter R. McQuillan donated $4 million to Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden for the new Adam R. Rose and Peter R. McQuillan Arts Center. Rose and McQuillan’s gift will go to a new 3,000 square foot building dedicated to the arts at the Garden. The two philanthropists live at the Apogee on Miami Beach and have donated to Bass Art Museum, Lowe Art Museum, The Wolfsonian and Vizcaya Museum & Gardens. Rose, a successful real estate executive, learned about philanthropy from his parents, Frederick and Sandra Rose, who gave $15 million for the Rose Reading Room at the New York Public Library and $20 million to the Rose Center for Earth and Space at the Museum of Natural History in NYC.
