Billboard Awards Draws Music Executives, Producers and Recording Stars
Titans of the Latin music industry were mingling, sipping, and posing for pictures at Billboard’s first ever Latin Music Power Players event. Held at the W South Beach and sponsored by Lexus, guests included Sony Music Entertainment’s CEO for Latin America, Afo Verde, Univision Radio president Jesus Lara, Sony music senior A&R manager Isabel de Jesus, Ogilvy CEO Pablo Glaser, Miami philanthropists Walter and Carolina la Mendola, La Voz Mexico host Lele Pons and countless recording artists, producers, and executives. Of course, Billboard editor-in-chief Jason Lipshutz was there, as the event was thrown to herald the magazine’s annual Latin Music Power Players List, which recognizes the most authoritative people in the Latin music industry within the labels, management companies, streaming services and multi-sector organizations. William Kolm of WK Entertainment was honored as Executive of the Year and there were live performances by CNCO, Abraham Mateo, Manu Manzo, and Justin Quiles.
