New World School of the Arts [NWSA] and the Design and Architecture Senior High [DASH] collaborated on an event that not only proved to be a profitable endeavor, but also demonstrated that South Florida arts supporters have a solid commitment to the education and advancement of our city’s young artists.
Conceived by husband-and-wife-team, artists and educators Dr. Stacey Mancuso and Tom Wyroba as a way to raise funds for both institutions, Radicated Retrospective offered guests the unique opportunity to own original art work at an affordable price. The majority of the art work displayed in the show, regardless of the size, sold for $50. The proceeds will be used to establish the WyMan Foundation to benefit both schools equally, through scholarships and/or endowments.
