People often ask me where to go to have a good time and eat great food on New Year’s Eve, and I always tell them to stay home, like I do. Drink your favorite champagne and indulge in your most favorite foods, whatever those may be. But if I were to go out and celebrate New Year’s Eve this year in Miami, these are the places I would definitely consider!

New Year’s Eve Dinner
Alter, as expected, Chef Brad Kilgore will dazzle (I mean it) with his six-course tasting menu along with the sophisticated Lanson Extra Age Brut Champagne. Early seating at 7 p.m. – $175 pp includes a glass of Champagne. Later seating after 9 p.m. – $225 includes a bottle of Champagne per couple. Reservations available online through Resy.

Habitat by Chef Jose Mendin will welcome 2018 with unforgettable New Year’s Eve experiences! For their first New Year’s celebration: freedom of choice during their first dinner seating at 6 p.m. with a limited a la carte menu for minimum consumption of $125 per person. But, ring in the new year with the evenings second seating from 8:30 p.m. at $225 per person and be prepared to savor a tasting menu served family style. The Forge with fabulous hosts Shareef & Gabrielle Malnik, will once again rock with the always-wonderful DJ Maxwell. Primary seating at 9 p.m. – $350 per person includes unlimited Veuve Clicquot Champagne, a four-course dinner, starting with a chef tasting plate with jumbo shrimp, ossetra caviar and blinis, smoked salmon with everything bagel crumble, and blue fin tuna toro sushi. But thats only the beginning! You will also enjoy white truffle risotto, wagyu beef carpaccio, butter-poached lobster, kona coffee crusted filet mignon and decadent desserts to choose from. There is an early seating at 6 p.m. as well – $95 per person, and several bar package options.

New Year’s Eve Dinner
Three Restaurant, one of the most welcoming restaurants to open this year by renowned Chef Norman Van Aken, will feature several culinary and party options. First seating – $95 per person with a three course tasting and glass of champagne; second seating – $195 per person with a four-course tasting menu, welcome canapes and champagne toast. Music by resident DJ Christina Camali. Meanwhile, Ultra Nate will perform upstairs at The Rooftop NO. 3 Social, with different packages/buffet starting at $195 per person.
