Miami Dolphins introduce new food options for 2014 season
One does not ordinarily equate a Foodie Find to a football game, but our beloved Miami Dolphins have made the connection.
In addition to Sun Life Stadium’s signature food items, the Fins have created partnerships with BurgerFi, Cold Stone Creamery, Cuban Guys, Sushi Maki and Bru’s Room Sports Grill.
Yet, our two Fins Foodie Finds come via the two remaining eateries from the team’s seven restaurant partnerships – Michelle Bernstein’s Crumb on Parchment and Bokampers, owned by Dolphins’ great Kim Bokamper.
Located in section 213, Crumb on Parchment brings the chic Miami Design District bakery and café to club level ticket holders. The Crumb Turkey Sandwich is served on a fresh pretzel roll and the Kale and Quinoa is a light and healthy choice for the calorie counting football fan; but the Fins Foodie Find is The Vegetarian sandwich – carrots, pickled radish, sprouts, avocado, cheddar on seedy grainy bread.
Bokampers MVP Club is a fantastic suite level area that brings air conditioned comfort and good food to the game experience. Tuna Wontons feature seared sushi-grade tuna piled on a crispy wonton and the homemade Mac & Cheese Balls are simply decadent; but the Fins Foodie Find is the Bacon & Blue Cheese Sliders made from a blend of Wagyu beef and 1855 Angus Chuck and topped with applewood smoked bacon, bleu cheese crumbles and crispy onion strings. The dish screams gourmet, but is still hefty enough to compliment the Dolphins’ #StrongerTogether rallying
cry.
In addition to the upgraded dining options, the team now offers memberships based on four fan lifestyles: family, social, fanatic and business. Business members are treated to breakfast with the CEO and networking events; family members enjoy a movie night at the stadium; social members partake in a food truck night on stadium grounds; and fanatics get an inside invitation to the Dolphins NFL Draft party.
While building a winning team on the field is clearly the top priority, it’s clear that the Fins are making every effort to create an enhanced fan experience.
