Foodie Find: Zucca at Hotel St. Michel

Tucked into the corner of the landmark Hotel St. Michel, Zucca has opened in Coral Gables, serving authentic Italian fare and hand-crafted cocktails in a modern and comfortable setting. The drink selections arrive with striking presentations, as the Moscow Mule is mixed in a wide copper cup with oversized garnishes while the classic Negroni arrives with thick orange peel. The antipasti light bites include a selection of homemade cheeses including Mozzarella di Bufala, Borcconcini as well as Burrata and Stracciatella. Charcuterie boards include Bresaola and Prosciutto di Parma. For dinner, consider sampling several dishes with shareable plates. Starters include the Trofine al Pesto Genovese with trofie pasta and pinenuts and Ravioli di Zucca Burro e Salvia, which is a heaping plate of homemade stuffed with pumpkin and sautéed with butter and sage. Don’t miss the Tagliateele ai Funghi with homemade tagliatelle pasta with mushrooms and black truffle.
