Nikki Baron incorporates her fine art training with design
Originally from St. Louis, Nikki Baron moved with her family to Miami while still a child and attended Miami Norland Senior High. She later received her MFA from the University of Miami and went on to teach fine arts.
Baron enjoyed teaching but yearned to work professionally and after owning a home accessories and antique store for several years, she ventured into design and opened Baron Design Studio from her home. As her business grew, Baron could no longer work and live at the same location and chose the Miami Design District to set up shop and has remained there.
Baron has seen Miami grow and acknowledges that our city’s growth has led to more sophisticated and intelligent clients with a greater understanding of what they want.
