Miami’s social scene is distanced but most decidedly relevant.  Charities are working harder than ever and their supporters are unwavering in their dedication.

The Greater Miami Jewish Federation held The Women’s Event in a virtual forum that was opened by chair Silvia Assor and attended by supporters Ilene Kossman and Tammy Woldenberg, who welcomed guests while  Jeannette Kaplun interviewed featured speaker Mayim Bialik. 

Kristi House held it’s Virtual Breaking the Silence Luncheon with CEO Amanda Altman, moderator Ileana Bravo, co-chair Angelica Bertot Santibañez, Glorida Fonts Suárez and Priscilla Marrero.

The Coral Gables Community Foundation held L’Art de Recevoir with co-chairing couples Sissy DeMaria-Koehne & Dr. Guenther Koehn and  Lauren Harrison-Brown and Blake Brown.

And for Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Foundation, the Virtual Diamond Ball brought to the screen co-hosts Jason Alpert and Geoff Cowan as well as Jack and Barbara Nicklaus, Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Foundation president Michelle Boggs and Nicklaus Children’s Health System president and CEO Matthew Love.

There’s still so much ahead. Coming up in April is the Women of Tomorrow Annual Gala with organization founder Jennifer Valoppi and gala founder Marisa Toccin Lucas and PAMM’s Art of the Party with details unfolding.

You can also come out for Sylvester Cancer Center’s Dolphins Cancer Challenge, one of the nation’s most celebrated experiences inspiring thousands of cyclists, runners, and walkers, chaired by Tom Garfinkel, Vice-Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Miami Dolphins, and Jackie Travisano, EVP & COO University of Miami & Chair of the Dolphins Challenge Cancer Board of Directors.

There are even new additions for this release, including Chapman Partnerships “Take a Walk in Her Shoes” plus Breakthrough Miami’s Support a Scholar Celebration.
