American Red Cross Presents
2013 Spectrum Award Honorees
The American Red Cross presents 12 outstanding women leaders who will be receiving the Sara Hopkins Woodruff Spectrum Awards for Women during a luncheon on March 5th at the InterContinental Miami Hotel.
The honorees serve as exceptional examples of the humanitarian principles of the American Red Cross: Humanity, Impartiality, Independence, Unity, Neutrality, Universality and Voluntary Service.
“Spectrum” refers to the impact these women have on a broad scope of community life and also reflects the spectrum of cultures represented in our community.

Potamkin Boat Show Party
At the Miami Boat Show, Claudia Potamkin hosted a launch party for her newly acquired yacht, Defiance – a magnificent Italian designed 80ft Mangustaas – as well as her newly created clothing line for boating crew. South Florida’s The Blue Fire Band performed live while guests sipped cocktails, nibbled on passed hors d’oerves and mingled with the boat’s captain Sandy Yawn.
