VIDEO: Walid Wahab

Walid Wahab is one of the good guys in Miami. Many in the social set know Wahab and wife, Suzy, through their charitable ventures and affiliations with arts groups.

The headquarters for Wahab Construction is a distinct building located directly off of I-95 and SW 8th Street. The site is clearly identified by a mural that covers the north face of the building painted by rising Miami artist, Bhakti Baxter.

Rather than transforming the lower level of the building into office space and leasing it out, Wahab converted the ground floor into studio space for resident artists. The space is large enough to accommodate two artists at a time and is donated for a year to recent graduates of the New World School of the Arts.
